    Owned by the de Courcel family since the 16th century, this well-respected domaine covers arguably the best 10.5 hectares of vineyards in Pommard, including the domaine’s monopole vineyard, the Clos des Epenots. Gilles de Courcel, along with his three sisters, is the current generation in charge. A business school graduate, Gilles returned to the domaine in 1983 after a short stint in the banking industry. Yves Confuron joined as winemaker in 1996, implementing several changes to the vini- and viticulture to produce wines that reflect their individual terroirs – offering natural balance, pronounced structure and intense aromatic complexity.
